As a seasoned producer, you already know that production is the applied art of giving a shit. You’re trying to get things done, while everyone is pulling you in different directions. We don’t get why anyone would enjoy dealing with that sort of thing — but hey, no judgment.

In fact, we love the things you do. The way you listen to a client while reading between the lines what their real needs and concerns are. Marvellous! And the way you’re firm yet charming in managing their expectations and pushing back when necessary. We tip our hat to you.

Our creative team loves you for the way you own projects, make things happen, protect the process, empathize with them, and respect their work. And they hate you for cracking the whip, keeping them on time and budget, and reminding them to complete their time sheets, but that’s another story. Creatives, right?

The point is, it takes a special type of nutter to do this job. Then again, this particular job is quite delicious, as it’ll allow you to establish and grow your own team, systems and processes. And do things in the way you know they should be done. Not like that other agency you once worked for. I mean, WTF.

As the team evolves, so will your own role – and you’ll be the one to define it. What you keep, what you delegate. Remember that job you always wanted? This might or might not be it.
